1
What is vinyl wrap?
Vinyl wrap is a thin, adhesive-backed film that’s applied directly to the surface of a vehicle to change its appearance — without the need for paint. It comes in a wide range of colors, finishes (like matte, gloss, satin, or chrome), and textures (like carbon fiber or brushed metal).

Vinyl wrap not only lets you personalize your vehicle's look, but it also offers a layer of protection against scratches, sun damage, and minor wear. Plus, it's completely removable, which means you can switch up your style whenever you're ready for a change — or go back to your original finish without damage.
2
How long does it last?
Vinyl wrap typically lasts 5 to 7 years, depending on the quality of the materials used, how the vehicle is cared for, and environmental factors. To maximize the lifespan of your wrap, it's best to hand wash your vehicle regularly, avoid harsh chemicals, and store it in a garage or shaded area when possible. Proper care helps keep the colors vibrant and the film in top condition.
3
What brands do you use?
Avery Dennison is my top favorite vinyl brand. But I also recommend any brands on MetroRestyling.com, Aura Vinyl, and VinylFrog. All of which are high quality materials. If you have a specific brand in mind, I'm open to custom requests. However, please note that using a brand outside of my trusted lineup may result in an additional charge and could affect warranty coverage, depending on the material’s quality or installation difficulty.

How do I take care of and wash my vehicle with vinyl wrap?
Hand washing is the most recommended method for cleaning a vinyl-wrapped vehicle, as it helps preserve the finish and extend the life of the wrap. While automatic car washes can be used, they come with a risk — especially if they have brushes that make contact with the vehicle, which can scratch or lift the vinyl. Brushless or touch-free washes are safer, but hand washing remains the best option.

To maintain a clean and vibrant finish, it’s also important to keep your vinyl “hydrated.” I recommend applying Chemical Guys’ "Wrap Detailer" spray to a freshly cleaned vehicle every 4 to 6 months. This helps protect the wrap and keep it looking fresh. While not required, it's a great step for long-term care, in my opinion.

Do not let bugs or bird droppings sit on the surface for long periods of time (5+ days) because they contain acidic compounds that can stain, etch, or damage the vinyl wrap’s finish. The longer they sit, the more likely they are to break down the surface or leave permanent marks. Spot clean if necessary.
